Weijia Jiang is an award-winning White House Correspondent for CBS News. She has a decade of experience as a broadcast journalist, having covered everything from the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Pope Francis's historic visit to the United States, President Obama’s visit to Hiroshima, and traveling aboard Air Force One to cover President Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki. In July 2018, Weijia was named the White House Correspondent for CBS News. Weijia is an alumna of the College of William and Mary, as well as S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
